Project Engineer (Eng)

Location: Plainfield, Illinois, United States; may be temporarily assigned to project sites.

Salary: $100,834–$126,042 annually

What you will do

• Manage all or part of the engineering scope and execute project engineering deliverables.
• Direct and coordinate engineering and design discipline leads.
• Lead engineering schedule, budget, document control, and manpower planning.
• Establish procedures and ensure deliverables meet client and project requirements.
• Coordinate communication across engineering disciplines and review work with clients, management, and functional leads.
• Identify and resolve technical problems, manage change, and maintain focus on engineering, fabrication, and construction outcomes.

Requirements

• Accredited BS degree in engineering; ABET engineering degree required in the US.
• At least 3 years of project engineering experience on large industrial projects.
• 3–5+ years of experience in an engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer certificate of registration preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, complex environments, and collaboration across organizational levels.
