DMS/EMS/SCADA Analyst

What you will do

• Support and maintain ICCP infrastructure and real-time data exchanges for DMS, EMS, and SCADA environments.
• Configure, model, test, and troubleshoot ICCP points and connections using OpenICCP, Data Explorer, and related tools.
• Investigate communication issues, telemetry discrepancies, data-quality concerns, and point failures.
• Support onboarding of ICCP partners, new data-exchange requirements, redundancy testing, and failover validation.
• Coordinate with Operations, EMS, ADMS, Protection and Control Engineering, and external entities.
• Document configurations and changes, create SQL queries, and participate in incident response and after-hours support rotations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or a high school diploma plus two years of related military, technical, or utility experience.
• Entry-level understanding of operational practices for applicable equipment and software.
• Strong communication, issue-resolution, organization, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems with senior-level guidance and provide after-hours EMS/SCADA support.
• Ability to develop an understanding of SCADA, Protection and Control applications, and substation equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCADA systems.
• Experience with SQL.
• Understanding of business-unit or operating-company systems.
