What you will do

• Profile data sources to assess structure, quality, completeness, and relationships.
• Document end-to-end data lineage from source systems through transformation to consumption.
• Map source data to canonical and domain models to support database design and consistent enterprise definitions.
• Apply data elements to API schemas and translate business requirements into implementable specifications.
• Define and document standardization, validation, and data quality rules, including Master Data Management practices.
• Produce source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, metadata, lineage artifacts, and other technical documentation while communicating requirements to engineering teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in data analysis, data mapping, data modeling, or a related data role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience profiling, querying, and analyzing data across multiple source systems.
• Experience with data mapping, source-to-target documentation, data modeling, schema design, and database design concepts.
• Understanding of data lifecycles, integrated systems, API schemas, and API contracts.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Master Data Management, golden-record concepts, survivorship rules, data governance, metadata management, and lineage tooling.
• Experience defining validation logic for ingestion or transformation processes.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, modern data catalogs, or data-as-a-product design.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
