Human Resources Business Partner (Assurance)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $84,540–$157,560 per year in Chicago. Additional pay ranges are listed for Minneapolis, Dallas, and Milwaukee.

What you will do

• Partner with Assurance leaders to align organizational goals with people strategies.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development.
• Advise managers and leaders on performance management and compensation review processes.
• Support organizational change, employee engagement, learning, and development initiatives.
• Analyze turnover, engagement, absenteeism, and other HR metrics to recommend data-driven solutions.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR business partner or generalist role.
• Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
• Strong business acumen, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting organizational change and handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analytics tools.

Nice to have

• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
