Assembly Team Lead - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Saugerties, New York, United States; 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. second shift

Salary: $32–$37 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential

What you will do

• Lead assembly personnel in achieving daily and weekly production, quality, schedule, and efficiency targets.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Supervise, coach, and train assembly employees while supporting performance management and development.
• Coordinate production updates, issue escalation, and troubleshooting with other departments.
• Maintain workplace organization, material flow, tools, and equipment in accordance with 6S principles.
• Apply hirify.global Vacuum Technique Production System principles, improve assembly processes, and maintain labor and routing data in Encompix.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of assembly experience and 1–3 years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools and small power tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a small team.
• Ability to work on-site in Saugerties, New York, during the 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. second shift.
