Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead daily second-shift production operations across multiple manufacturing processes and product lines.
• Supervise, coordinate, onboard, coach, and develop production employees.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Materials, Operations Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and other departments to meet quality, cost, delivery, and schedule objectives.
• Monitor production records and performance data, prepare safety and productivity reports, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Manage workforce capacity, employee flexibility, sequencing, parts flow, and process adherence.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities involving safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and inventory.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people, or organizing tasks.
• Experience communicating effectively, resolving shop-floor conflicts, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and work with tools and production equipment.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to comply with facility PPE and safety requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or another ERP system such as Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience as a team lead or project-team leader in an operational environment.
• Three to five years of experience with welding and fabrication operations.
• Experience with powder paint systems.
