National Account Manager I (Health Insurance)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work with three onsite days and two remote days per week at the Austin ISD Main Office

Salary: $66,400–$99,600 annual base pay, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus

What you will do

• Support Account Executives with client renewals across an assigned book of business.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and consultants.
• Research client inquiries, coordinate resolutions with internal operational teams, and communicate updates.
• Prepare utilization reports, gather data, maintain databases, and summarize and analyze results.
• Coordinate client meetings, agendas, and presentation materials.
• Attend client meetings, health fairs, and enrollment meetings, with occasional travel as required.

Requirements

• State General Agent Insurance License, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of starting.
• Bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience in health insurance or health care service, sales, or marketing; alternatively, three years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• Organizational, project implementation, phone customer service, and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external contacts.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and sales systems.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite three days per week in Austin and travel occasionally.
