Maintenance Technician - Swing Shift (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: On-site role associated with the San Francisco and Oakland markets; swing shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Salary: $34.52–$57.79 per hour, plus a performance-related bonus plan.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on reactors, pumps, valves, mixers, tanks, instrumentation, control systems, and other R&D equipment.
• Maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC, building exteriors, security systems, fire safety systems, lighting, and chemical process equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and plumbing issues, replace industrial electrical components, read schematics, and use testing equipment to identify system faults.
• Support equipment modifications, specialty-part and fixture fabrication, vendor and machine-shop coordination, and small-scale technical projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep spare-parts inventory accurate.
• Follow plant and laboratory safety procedures and wear assigned uniforms and required PPE.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Mechanical engineering degree and some electrical engineering expertise.
• Ability to work the 2:00pm–10:30pm swing shift.
• Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, industrial component installation, schematic reading, and testing equipment use.
• Ability to troubleshoot common electrical and plumbing issues and perform general maintenance such as painting, carpentry, and HVAC filter replacement.
• Vocational training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
