What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance assigned by a supervisor.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and use measuring instruments to diagnose wear or damage in machine parts.
• Maintain records and organize parts and materials in their proper locations.
• Follow OSHA requirements, machine-operation safety practices, and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, team members, and other departments on maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of industrial equipment maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to safely use hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps, and small tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic machine schematics with limited guidance.
• Ability to lift, move, push, pull, carry, and manipulate materials weighing up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds unaccompanied.
