Setter (APU 1-A)

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Start up, operate, and monitor injection molding, assembly, packaging, auxiliary, automated, and robotic equipment.
• Load validated machine parameters and programs, align automated systems, and verify production runs meet quality specifications.
• Perform visual inspections, line clearances, mold cleaning, mold pulling and setting, color changes, and material lot changes.
• Troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues, respond to alarms, and escalate problems to Setter Level 2 or Maintenance when needed.
• Complete Level 1 Total Productive Maintenance, cycle checklists, traceability documentation, and required production records.
• Support lean initiatives, process improvements, ISO standards, GMP, health and safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for 90% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.
• Ability to satisfy the job's vision testing requirements.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Basic math, PC, and mechanical skills; injection molding or robotic knowledge is preferred.
