Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: North Brunswick Township, New Jersey, USA; hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. Typical working hours are 8 AM–5 PM EST, with some travel required approximately 5% of the time.

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with managers and employees across assigned business units.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, team development, and change management.
• Lead onboarding for new leaders and provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, compliance, and employment matters.
• Manage employee relations cases, investigations, grievances, and recommendations for fair and consistent resolutions.
• Partner with HR colleagues to deliver proactive and solution-oriented support aligned with organizational policies.
• Use workforce data and HR insights to support organizational growth and business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting large non-exempt populations of 250–500+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation, investigations, coaching, organizational development, and change or project management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, multi-state compliance, and diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to work the hybrid schedule in North Brunswick Township and support 8 AM–5 PM EST business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Workday, UltiPro, or similar HRIS platforms.
• Familiarity with ATS and LMS platforms such as Relias or Cornerstone.
• Healthcare, human services, or other regulated multi-state industry experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, coaching, mediation, or project management credentials.
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience.
