Regional Director, Data Centers

Location: Houston, TX, United States; onsite during core business hours

What you will do

• Oversee operations and maintenance across multiple data centers within a geographic region.
• Manage Data Center Managers and Lead Data Center Technicians responsible for facilities, installations, and client demands.
• Track operational metrics, preventive maintenance, productivity, overtime, project completion, and quality assurance.
• Ensure facility infrastructure, security monitoring, safety procedures, certifications, and compliance requirements remain operational and consistent.
• Manage contractors and vendors, inspect completed work, and resolve exceptions identified during maintenance activities.
• Plan staffing, budgets, technical training, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives involving Capex, Opex, PUE, and end-of-life equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading managers and coordinating teams across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of data center components, including HVAC, UPS, and servers.
• Background in data center operations, including incident response, preventive maintenance, and operational procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, decision-making, budgeting, and planning skills.
• Availability to work onsite during core business hours in Houston, TX.
