Lead Critical Facilities Technician (Data Centers)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; onsite critical-facilities work with scheduled shifts that may exceed 12 hours.

Hourly pay: $48.00–$54.00 per hour, plus quarterly bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead scheduled-shift operations, assign work to Critical Facilities Technicians, monitor site health, and serve as the first escalation point.
• Monitor building operations and respond to emergencies, equipment failures, SLA violations, system deviations, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for critical and non-critical site assets, including work orders and contractor activities.
• Operate and delegate work involving HVAC, plumbing, generators, UPSs, PDUs, STSs, electrical switchgear, fire and life-safety systems, temperature controls, BMS, and digital security systems.
• Support construction projects, customer service requests, spare-parts inventory, procedure compliance, and maintenance quality assurance.
• Develop training programs, coordinate schedules and shift swaps, stop unsafe work, and foster collaboration across operations teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 3–5 years of electrical or mechanical critical-facilities experience, or 7+ years as an HVAC or mechanical technician.
• Ability to qualify as a Lead Technician and coordinate or train other team members.
• Ability to work overtime and shifts longer than 12 hours when required on site.
• Computer skills, including MS Office.
• Electrical or mechanical certifications are preferred.
