TL;DR
Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Insurance): Supporting compliant insurance products, policy forms, regulatory filings, and policy issuance systems with an accent on regulatory analysis, compliance reviews, and cross-functional product implementation. Focus on researching legislative changes, testing policy systems, maintaining filing records, and identifying scalable solutions to compliance risks.

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; hybrid work structure after training. A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace is required for remote work days. Employer visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

  • Review, maintain, implement, and test insurance policy forms, endorsements, applications, business documents, and policy issuance systems.
  • Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company standards, and regulatory filing requirements.
  • Research legislative, regulatory, and industry changes and assess their impact on products, underwriting, rates, rules, procedures, and operations.
  • Prepare filing documentation, maintain records, monitor approvals, and support regulatory inquiries, audits, examinations, and compliance reviews.
  • Partner with Product Development, Underwriting, Operations, Technology, Legal, and other stakeholders on product updates and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify compliance risks and process improvements while supporting system testing, quality assurance, reporting, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Relevant experience in insurance, compliance, regulatory affairs, auditing, legal, financial services, risk management, or business operations.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information appropriately.

Nice to have

  • Property and casualty insurance experience.
  • Knowledge of policy forms, endorsements, coverages, underwriting, rates, rules, and regulatory filings.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, regulatory examinations, or reporting activities.
  • Insurance designations or coursework such as CPCU, AU, AINS, IIA, or similar certifications.
  • Experience in legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, or risk management functions.
