Compliance Analyst, Audit Assurance

What you will do

• Execute SOC and HITRUST readiness activities, including evidence collection, control walkthroughs, and gap identification.
• Support external audit fieldwork, manage auditor requests, and maintain audit-ready evidence in the enterprise GRC platform.
• Conduct independent assessments of business risk identification, evaluation, and reporting.
• Track findings, corrective actions, remediation progress, and issue closure.
• Identify trends and systemic control issues to support risk prioritization.
• Partner with compliance, risk, legal, technology, Finance, Internal Audit, and business unit teams on assurance activities and process standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, assurance, or control testing; internship experience is considered.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, HITRUST, NIST, or COSO control frameworks.
• Experience with evidence collection, control documentation, or walkthrough procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent requests, meet deadlines, and use Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• CISA or CIA certification, or progress toward either certification.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise GRC platform.
• Exposure to HITRUST CSF or SOC 2 Type II engagements.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or life, annuity, and health insurance operations.
