Configuration Specialist

Location: American Fork, Utah, United States; full-time onsite at the headquarters. The role requires registration as a Utah Alarm Agent, including a federal background check, fingerprinting, and an application. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Develops AI-driven intelligent site technology combining mobile, solar-powered security units with video surveillance and an Agentic AI platform.

What you will do

• Recommend system configurations that maximize customer efficiency and value.
• Activate new security units by validating hardware setup, placement, dates, times, and initial settings.
• Assign and track units in the Video Management System and maintain accurate configuration records.
• Configure and validate camera presets, angles, views, image quality, coverage, and analytics performance.
• Clear unit analytics and settings to ensure reliable deployment-ready systems.
• Escalate complex technical issues and coordinate activations with project managers, technicians, and support staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on technical aptitude with hardware components and software applications.
• Understanding of video analytics and surveillance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple configurations accurately, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete required background checks, drug screening, fingerprinting, and Utah Alarm Agent registration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Video Management Systems and related software.
• Previous experience configuring security or surveillance systems.
• Additional technical certifications or training.
