TL;DR
Senior Network Watch Engineer (Network Engineering/DoD): Providing Tier 3 network engineering and operations support across enterprise locations with an accent on network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization. Focus on resolving complex network issues, supporting distributed sites, conducting incident and root cause analysis, and implementing DoD security requirements.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; on-site. The role includes travel to other sites and up to 25% CONUS travel.

What you will do
- Provide Tier 3 network engineering and operations support across enterprise locations.
- Design, implement, install, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure.
- Develop network solutions, deployment documentation, operations SOPs, and technical resolution reports.
- Facilitate engineering design activities, site surveys, and technical data calls.
- Research and test new technologies for performance and interoperability.
- Resolve complex network issues and support operations across multiple sites.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, or TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph before starting.
- IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+, and CCNA certification.
- Relevant education and experience: GED plus 9 years, associate degree plus 7 years, bachelor's degree plus 5 years, or master's degree plus 3 years.
- Experience with network engineering, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and operations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex technical problems.
- Ability to perform physical installation tasks and support up to 25% CONUS travel.
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise-scale network operations across geographically dispersed or remote locations.
- Experience with network upgrades, technical refresh projects, new implementations, and remote-site troubleshooting.
- Experience provisioning routers, switches, and cryptographic devices.
- Experience with incident analysis, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Experience reviewing and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides.
