AI Product Manager

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $180,000–$244,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential performance-based incentive and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive the product roadmap for the Business Owner’s Policy, making short- and long-term trade-offs explicit and coordinating plans with insurance product managers.
• Build and improve a bundled BOP product that customers can understand and purchase through a single flow.
• Own go-to-market planning across direct, agent, and partnership distribution channels.
• Package and merchandise insurance products for small business owners and insurance agents.
• Build user experiences that increase conversion and improve underwriting quality.
• Lead product strategy planning, executive communication, and monthly progress discussions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience shipping customer-facing products with meaningful revenue.
• Experience working with complex, regulated, financial, or insurance products and software.
• Strong user focus, prioritization, analytical skills, and experience working with data science partners.
• Direct experience with distribution channels or go-to-market teams.
• Exceptional executive communication and the ability to explain complex situations clearly to senior leaders.
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate and automate workflows while maintaining quality and critical thinking.

Nice to have

• Background in insurance, fintech, lending, or another regulated category.
• Experience selling to small businesses.
• Strong design partnership instincts and experience identifying UX problems.
