Senior Product Manager (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories. Core meeting hours are 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Pacific Time. Occasional travel may be requested but is not required.

Salary: $210,000–$280,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Data Science, and insurance domain functions.
• Drive product discovery for ambiguous, multi-workstream initiatives using qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Own Agile product delivery, including goals, priorities, trade-offs, scope, and backlog management across Scrum and Kanban.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy options and guide technical design decisions involving dependencies, performance, scalability, security, and architecture.
• Coordinate timelines and deliverables across product, project, program, and Scrum leadership.
• Define product strategy and roadmaps, prioritize with data, and measure business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, equivalent education and experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience partnering with engineering, design, and QA teams and leading cross-functional, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development in at least two areas: cloud infrastructure, API/backend services, or data platforms/data science.
• Experience using AI to create repeatable workflows that support research, strategy, decision-making, and product delivery.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in a distributed environment from within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories.

Nice to have

• Experience with personal and commercial lines insurance products and configurations.
• Experience with data science modeling and machine learning practices.
