Senior User Experience Designer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Westlake, TX; Austin, TX; Omaha, NE; or Ann Arbor, MI. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; employer sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $129,000–$170,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead product design from discovery through launch and iteration for trading experiences across web and native mobile applications.
• Design responsive web and touch-based mobile interactions with attention to layout, typography, color, motion, and system behavior.
• Simplify data-intensive trading workflows while preserving the power and precision expected by experienced investors.
• Use and evolve the design system by creating consistent, scalable patterns and components.
• Partner with product managers, developers, researchers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, and business partners in an Agile environment.
• Facilitate problem framing, ideation, design communication, and cross-disciplinary decision-making while championing accessible and inclusive experiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience with digital products and an online portfolio demonstrating design process and thinking.
• At least 1 year of experience designing touch-based mobile interfaces.
• Experience with data-intensive applications, preferably in financial services or brokerage platforms.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design, including research, user flows, wireframes, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and content specifications.
• Experience with accessibility testing, cross-functional design sessions, multidisciplinary Agile teams, and modern design systems.
• Fluency with Figma and experience integrating AI tools such as Copilot, Figma Make, MCPs, Vercel, or similar technologies into the design process.
