Senior User Experience Designer (Figma)

Location: Hybrid, one day in the office per week; must be based in or commutable to New York City

Salary: $100,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

• Design large and complex interaction systems for digital products and services.
• Develop high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes primarily in Figma.
• Apply user-centered design, research, and insight to define solutions for consumers and clients.
• Use AI tools, Figma agents, and plugins to improve innovation and efficiency across the UX lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, product, strategy, and engineering teams to refine UX processes and delivery standards.
• Lead and support designers across multiple projects and contribute to UX thought leadership.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience designing complex digital product ecosystems.
• Compelling portfolio demonstrating product and service design, UX craft, and systems thinking.
• Deep expertise in Figma design systems, including components, variants, auto layout, libraries, prototyping, agents, and plugins.
• Advanced use of AI in design workflows to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and advocating for design decisions directly to clients.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate cross-functionally.
