Summer 2027 Intern - Enterprise Research - UX Researcher

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, or Dunwoody, Georgia; hybrid arrangement with a remote option for the right candidate. Applicants must be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately.

Pay: $32.50/hour. Selected candidates also receive a $2,000 stipend.

What you will do

• Design and conduct user research for software and non-software products.
• Partner with developers and designers on user-centered research.
• Research customer experiences on Statefarm.com and mobile applications.
• Study business tools used by the sales force and employees.
• Conduct ethnography, concept testing, task analysis, conceptual design, and usability testing.
• Guide product design, selection, and refinement throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time throughout the internship.
• Current graduate-level student in a Master's or PhD program.
• Studying User Experience Research, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
• Understanding of experimental design.
• Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
