Senior Engineer (Java/Software Development/AI) - Hybrid

What you will do

• Lead technical strategy and execution across engineering areas, including applied AI architecture, technology selection, and integration patterns.
• Translate business needs into technical designs with product, domain, analytics, and engineering partners.
• Build and deliver full-stack services, microservices, AI-augmented workflows, and intelligent enterprise services.
• Design durable, observable AI workflows using orchestration, agent patterns, APIs, business rules, and human-in-the-loop steps.
• Select and rationalize models, retrieval systems, vector stores, knowledge graphs, and workflow engines based on cost, latency, accuracy, security, and operability.
• Mentor engineers and product colleagues while establishing production evaluation, monitoring, governance, testing, safety, fallback, and incident-response practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience with Java, C#, Python, Go, or comparable technologies.
• 4+ years of architecture and design experience, including microservices, API, event-driven, and messaging-based systems.
• 2+ years of production experience with applied AI, generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation.
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud platform.
• Fluency in at least two modern object-oriented languages and experience with GraphQL, gRPC, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL databases, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal, Fable, agent frameworks, vector retrieval, knowledge graphs, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience building SaaS products or platforms and evaluating non-deterministic AI components in production.
