Energy Marshal (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Own hazardous energy control across multiple concurrent gigawatt-scale data center builds from construction through commissioning.
• Write, review, and approve all switching plans, LOTO procedures, and energization sequences.
• Hold sole authority to authorize, pause, or stop any energization, isolation, or restoration activities.
• Audit electrical safety programs in the field, including JHAs, PPE, and arc flash labeling.
• Manage the Kirk key and tamper seal programs to ensure total control over energized equipment.
• Select, onboard, and audit site-level Energy Marshals to ensure a unified safety standard across all campuses.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Minimum of five years experience as an Energy Marshal or Controlling Energy Marshal on mission-critical construction.
• Current NFPA 70E qualified-person training and recognized electrical safety credential (NFPA CESCP or CESW).
• OSHA 30 Construction certification and current First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Proven experience writing and approving switching orders and LOTO procedures on MV (above 1000V) and LV distribution.
• Ability to coordinate diverse teams including GCs, electrical subcontractors, and utility operations on live campuses.

Nice to have

• Electrician licensure (journeyman or master).
• Utility safety leadership (CUSP).
• Commissioning credentials (CxA, QCxP).
• Experience with arc flash and coordination study review (SKM, ETAP).
