Sr. Manager, Procurement - US Lead (Biotech)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States; onsite four days per week with remote flexibility on Fridays

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Lead service, CapEx, and material purchasing activities.
• Develop procurement strategies focused on cost control, sourcing efficiency, and savings.
• Lead cross-functional teams through procurement processes and initiatives.
• Negotiate prices and contracts, manage order fulfillment, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve supplier issues involving delivery delays, pricing, and quality.
• Manage supplier performance, improve procurement processes, implement purchasing controls, and coach six Purchasing Specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in purchasing, operations, or supply chain, preferably in a pharmaceutical or CRO environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/S2P purchasing systems; experience implementing an S2P system is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Leadership ability, a strong sense of responsibility, self-discipline, and motivation.
• Ability to work onsite in Piscataway four days per week.
