Corporate Development Associate (AI)

Location: Hybrid or remote, based out of Austin, Texas; Santa Clara, California; or Toronto, Ontario

Compensation: $100,000–$500,000 annually, including base and variable compensation targets.

What you will do

• Lead procurement strategy for semiconductor design infrastructure, including third-party IP, EDA/CAD tools, and related technologies.
• Own vendor negotiations, IP licensing agreements, and complex technology sourcing deals.
• Build strategic relationships with Tier 1 providers and emerging design-tool vendors.
• Balance cost, quality, innovation, delivery speed, and business requirements in sourcing strategies.
• Translate technical requirements into vendor recommendations and present sourcing insights to leadership.
• Support engineering infrastructure decisions across global design centers and the semiconductor design-to-production workflow.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience sourcing complex technology such as IP, design tools, or semiconductor components.
• Deep procurement expertise in semiconductor design ecosystems, including third-party IP licensing or EDA/CAD tools.
• Experience leading complex contract negotiations and driving agreements to closure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to align technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
• Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology is required; employment may depend on citizenship, permanent residency, or prior export-license approval.

• Experience working with Tier 1 technology providers and emerging design-tool innovators.
