HVAC/R Equipment Technician

Location: Primarily field work at hirify.global restaurants and other locations in Deltona, FL and Daytona Beach, FL; remote work is permitted when not working at a hirify.global location.

Salary: $20.67–$40.38 per hour; target annual bonus of 7.5% of annualized base salary.

What you will do

• Perform reactive repairs on restaurant equipment and property based on work orders.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and create follow-up repair orders.
• Maintain accurate work orders, parts inventories, and company-owned tool inventories.
• Follow warranty procedures and report equipment and property conditions to support capital planning.
• Provide equipment operation and preventive maintenance training at the restaurant level.
• Participate in safety training and individual development planning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related general maintenance or repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• EPA Certification Type I and II.
• Ability to repair varied electrical equipment and work with tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and work in extreme climates; on-call rotations and overtime may be required.
