Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary: $19–$21 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, janitorial equipment, and vehicle or golf cart systems.
• Perform routine, predictive, and preventative maintenance on floor equipment, scrubbers, vacuums, extractors, and related machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues using hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean work areas, maintenance logs, and service schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and communicate technical issues professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Follow industrial safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures, and safely use ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.

Requirements

• At least six months of company, trade, or equivalent maintenance experience and a minimum of two years of electrical experience.
• Experience or training in areas such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC, or construction.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and work safely in industrial environments.
• Completion of required safety, environmental, task training, and certifications.
• A valid driver’s license and forklift or electric pallet jack certification may be required.
