HVAC/R Equipment Technician (HVAC/Refrigeration)

Location: Primarily at Wendy’s restaurants and field locations in the Brandon, Florida area, with remote work permitted in the Brandon area when not working at a restaurant location. The role may involve on-call rotations, overtime, and work in extreme weather conditions.

Salary: $20.67–$40.38 per hour. Target annual bonus: 7.5% of annualized base salary.

What you will do

• Perform reactive repairs on restaurant equipment and property based on work orders.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and create repair work orders for issues identified during inspections.
• Organize daily workloads and complete work orders according to priority requirements in My TechConnect.
• Maintain accurate inventories of parts and company-owned tools and follow warranty procedures.
• Report equipment, property, and maintenance conditions to support capital planning.
• Provide equipment operation and preventive maintenance training at the restaurant level while completing required safety training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related general maintenance or repair experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge of electrical repair, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration.
• EPA Certification Type I and II.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform kneeling, bending, twisting, and tool-handling tasks.
• Ability to work primarily at Wendy’s restaurants and field locations in the Brandon, Florida area.
