TL;DR
Senior .NET Developer (AI) (C#/.NET, ERP): Building and testing backend components for Epicor Kinetic across manufacturing and supply chain domains with an accent on clean architecture, data access, and Shift-Left quality practices. Focus on integrating AI capabilities, developing internal automation tools, and maintaining reliable unit and integration testing workflows.
Location: Monterrey, Mexico; hybrid work

What you will do
- Design, develop, refactor, and test backend components for Kinetic.
- Implement business logic and data access using C#, .NET, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
- Design and maintain unit and integration tests throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Apply Shift-Left quality practices by embedding testing and automation early in development.
- Build internal tools, assistants, and AI-enabled solutions that automate repetitive development and business tasks.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience designing and implementing unit and integration tests.
- Experience developing and testing APIs with Postman or similar tools.
- Understanding of software architecture, clean code, secure development, Shift-Left practices, and the SDLC.
- Practical experience with AI-powered development tools or integrating AI capabilities into software solutions, plus Git-based collaborative workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure DevOps delivery or release pipelines.
- Experience building developer tools, workflow automation, AI assistants, or task-oriented agents.
- Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance and training.
- Experience with ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, or other complex business applications.
