Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; remote working available

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and support customer-facing software in a cross-functional, stream-aligned team.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, customer-facing, and external teams to understand user needs and deliver valuable product improvements.
• Work across the full software lifecycle, from code commits through production operation, using a You Build It, You Run It approach.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based, event-driven systems using AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Improve production reliability through monitoring, observability, testing, and tools such as Datadog.
• Contribute to engineering culture, continuous improvement, and data-driven product decisions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience developing modern web applications.
• Experience building TypeScript and JavaScript applications with NoSQL databases.
• Professional experience with Python and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS serverless services and/or GCP, plus willingness to work across major cloud providers.
• Knowledge of test automation, production support, monitoring, tracing, and full-stack observability.
• Strong collaborative engineering practices, product focus, and commitment to continuous learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js, Django REST Framework, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
