Principal Technical Consultant (AI Automation)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico | Work Model: Hybrid

Base salary: 950,000–1,650,000 MXN per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the full software development lifecycle for custom automation solutions built on the hirify.global platform.
• Direct and mentor consultants during fast-paced enterprise software implementations.
• Partner with architects and technical delivery managers to design resilient, scalable, and secure system architectures.
• Build high-throughput integrations using REST, SOAP, and JDBC connections.
• Oversee relational data models and advanced SQL database designs through production launch.
• Work with client executives and technical stakeholders to increase platform adoption and enable independent process application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development or technical implementation consulting.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineering talent.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, database design, data modeling, and SQL queries, joins, and views.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer engagements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Mexico City, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Elastic Containers.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, automated test suites, test-driven development, and continuous integration frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce or ServiceNow.
