Solutions Engineer – Mexico

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; approximately 25% travel across Mexico, including frequent trips to Monterrey and other key regions, plus occasional travel to the United States

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, customized demonstrations, proofs of concept, pilots, and technical proposal content for enterprise and mid-market fleet opportunities.
• Scope and architect integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and data exports with telematics, TMS/ELD, HR, safety, and business intelligence systems.
• Guide hardware installation and deployment planning across vehicle classes, including power, mounting, connectivity, and installer enablement.
• Enable channel partners through technical training, certification, demos, localized documentation, and support for strategic opportunities.
• Advise existing enterprise customers on expansion opportunities, platform adoption, integrations, and measurable safety and business outcomes.
• Build the operating foundation for Solutions Engineering in Mexico and provide market feedback to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical account management with direct customer and prospect engagement.
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience delivering SaaS demonstrations and proofs of concept for mid-market and enterprise customers.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, data exports, API documentation, and integration scoping.
• Working knowledge of vehicle hardware installation and telematics deployment, including power, CAN/OBD, cellular connectivity, and camera mounting.
• Experience in transportation and logistics, fleet management, video telematics, or IoT is advantageous; a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Formal training in telematics, fleet safety, insurance, or risk management.
• Technical certifications in cloud platforms, APIs and integration, or data analytics.
• Experience building trust with Mexican enterprise customers and enabling partners in emerging technology markets.
