Paramedic (Certified/Licensed) (Pediatric Home Care)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri; requires travel to members’ homes and community locations. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. local time, with flexibility based on member needs and visit locations.

Salary: $24–$30 per hour, plus an annual bonus incentive.

What you will do

• Travel to members’ homes and community locations to respond to acute and episodic medical, behavioral, and social needs.
• Provide compassionate pediatric care as part of an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, pharmacists, social workers, therapists, and care navigators.
• Support urgent needs and provide therapeutic interventions under direct physician guidance.
• Assist with clinical intake visits and onboarding of new members.
• Engage with members after inpatient admissions or emergency department visits to prevent readmissions.
• Identify and address root causes affecting members’ health outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Missouri paramedic license and/or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT) certification required.
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• At least 3 years of field clinical experience.
• Driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and trust-building skills.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms in care delivery and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Pediatric patient experience.
• Experience in critical care, primary care, telehealth, community paramedicine, mobile integrated healthcare, emergency medicine, or value-based care.
• Bilingual Spanish skills.
