Service Technician (Industrial Water Treatment)

Location: Remote in the United States, with local travel to customer sites in and around Bettendorf, Iowa

Salary: $43,600–$63,943 per year, plus discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and optimize equipment and chemical treatment systems at customer sites.
• Conduct equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance evaluations.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and equipment performance.
• Demonstrate products and services, support system startups and new product implementations, and train customers.
• Collaborate with customer operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve process and equipment issues.
• Document service activities and technical findings, contribute technical input to bids and projects, and identify additional customer opportunities.

Requirements

• Technical experience in industrial maintenance, field service, manufacturing operations, or a related environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites and work in industrial environments.
• Experience in aluminum mills, metals processing, steel, paper, chemical, or other heavy industrial settings is preferred.
