What you will do
- Build and maintain supplier integrations using third-party APIs, including data mapping, error handling, retries, and monitoring.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data feeding the pricing engine and search platform.
- Expand the supply platform through projects such as mix-and-match transfers, open-jaw flights, and flexible accommodation options.
- Investigate ambiguous integration problems, work with supplier documentation, and resolve changing data formats.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Product, developers, and wider business stakeholders.
- Take ownership of increasingly complex supply-system work and contribute to its technical direction.
Requirements
- Professional experience building and maintaining backend services with C# and .NET Core.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, including MySQL and SQL Server, with the ability to write performant queries.
- Experience working with third-party APIs, error handling, and retry logic.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and investigate integrations without a complete specification.
- Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work from the Bristol office as part of a hybrid schedule.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud infrastructure.
- Frontend experience with React or Next.js.
