Product Design Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid work at an hirify.global office location determined by the team and role; Mountain View, California. Relocation stipend provided.

Salary: $32.41–$70.70 per hour

What you will do

• Create UI components, wireframes, visual layouts, and interactive prototypes.
• Use AI tools, design systems, and visual frameworks to improve consistency, speed, and brand alignment.
• Apply design thinking to understand customer problems and develop user-centered solutions with Senior Designers and cross-functional partners.
• Build and test rapid prototypes, gather feedback and data, and iterate from insight to execution.
• Participate in design reviews and communicate design rationale to inform team decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and research teams to deliver polished design work.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an hirify.global office location.
• Online portfolio demonstrating design excellence and creative process.
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus prototyping methods.
• Ability to communicate complex problems clearly and propose innovative, user-centered solutions.
