Mobile Software Engineering Intern (iOS)

Location: Hybrid work at an hirify.global office in Mountain View, Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, or San Diego, United States. Relocation stipend provided.

Salary: $35.50–$79.42 per hour, depending on location, skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Design, build, and test features for iOS applications, from user interfaces to connected services.
• Write clean, well-tested Swift code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects across the application stack.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and share effective practices with the team.
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of shipped features.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the 12-week summer internship ends.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an hirify.global office location.
• Experience building iOS applications with Swift or Objective-C and familiarity with SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, or MVVM.
• Working knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Python, and Java, plus experience connecting mobile applications to cloud-based APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile development, software development lifecycles, problem-solving, and effective communication.
