Senior Engineer, iOS Consumer Apps (Remote)

Salary: $103,000–$127,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain features for the Abercrombie and Hollister iOS applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable Swift code and participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with Android and backend teams to deliver cohesive cross-platform retail experiences.
• Improve app performance, reliability, developer experience, and architectural quality using patterns such as MVVM and modular design.
• Integrate and evaluate AI-driven capabilities including personalization, recommendations, conversational experiences, on-device ML, and agent-based experiences.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on iOS development.
• Strong experience with Swift, Apple iOS frameworks, scalable mobile applications, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of MVVM or Clean Architecture and experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or APIs, experimentation frameworks, analytics tools, or data-driven development.
• Strong collaboration, communication, ownership, and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI.
• Experience building eCommerce or retail applications.
• Familiarity with analytics or experimentation tools.
• Experience contributing to design systems or reusable components.
