iOS Software Engineer (Swift/SwiftUI)

Location: San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $65–70 per hour on W-2

What you will do

• Architect and build real-time systems coordinating multiple Apple devices and platforms.
• Develop software for iOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, and tvOS.
• Support production systems and resolve customer escalations.
• Collaborate with partner teams to translate requirements into robust, intuitive software.
• Write maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Professional experience writing Swift and SwiftUI code, including async/await, actors, Sendable, and structured concurrency.
• Experience building production applications with SwiftUI, UIKit, and AVFoundation.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and state machine patterns.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working across multiple Apple platforms.
• Ability to use AI tools to deliver results effectively.
• Experience writing clean, well-factored UI and business-layer code.
