Technical Product Manager, Applied Science – AI Products

Location: Hybrid — required to work from the Toronto office three days a week at 351 King Street East, Toronto, ON

Annual base salary: $125,000–$135,000 CAD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus and/or commission.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap, sequencing, and outcomes for agents, the agent builder, the eval builder, and agentic memory.
• Coordinate applied-science and platform-engineering workstreams into a unified delivery plan.
• Set product acceptance bars and evaluation baselines for AI features before release to practitioners.
• Validate AI outputs with domain experts and accounting and audit partner firms against professional standards.
• Shadow audit workflows, test prototypes, and convert practitioner feedback into actionable failure modes.
• Define product health metrics such as task completion, correction rates, override frequency, trust signals, and time-to-completion.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technology-focused product management or product development experience, including 3–4 years with AI or machine-learning products.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple technical teams, dependencies, shared interfaces, and timelines.
• Direct experience building and operating evaluation frameworks for production AI products, including human-in-the-loop validation, regression tracking, and release decisions.
• Technical fluency in LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and agentic patterns.
• Experience representing customers or practitioners and defining quality standards in high-stakes, regulated, or professional-grade contexts.
• Strong ownership, autonomy, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working with ambiguous problems.
