Financial Analyst (Video Games)

What you will do

• Create and maintain game production budgets and schedules with Studio, Publishing, and Development Services teams.
• Prepare and verify month-end financial results, reclasses, accruals, annual operating budgets, development reviews, and opportunity and risk analyses.
• Support headcount and external resource planning across projects and game titles.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review presentations for studio, publishing, and finance partners.
• Support compliance processes, project and time tracking, milestone payments, and license payment tracking.
• Review revenue and marketing forecasts and align them with production budgets and financial targets.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience creating financial forecasts and modeling different scenarios, ideally in video games, e-commerce, or mobile applications.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with databases and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Oracle, Workday, or SQL.

Nice to have

• Passion for gaming.
• Proficiency with SQL, JDE, Tableau, Python, or Snowflake.
