Financial Analyst, FP&A

What you will do

• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlook cycles for global operating expenses, initially focused on R&D.
• Partner with cost center owners, functional leaders, and Accounting across regions to consolidate and challenge forecasts.
• Analyze actuals against budgets and forecasts at the GL, cost center, and department levels, explaining variance drivers.
• Prepare monthly close packages, dashboards, and standardized financial reports with actionable insights.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses for initiatives, vendor contracts, expense optimization, reallocations, and discretionary spending.
• Improve forecasting and reporting processes using Adaptive Insights, Oracle, Snowflake, Excel, and Power BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or OpEx and budget management.
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, data analysis, and Power BI skills.
• Experience supporting close cycles, accruals, expense governance, internal controls, and audit-ready processes.
• Ability to interpret complex expense data, identify variance drivers, and communicate findings to business leaders.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights, Oracle, Snowflake, and enterprise AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in global, consumer goods, or retail organizations.
• Experience managing OpEx at the cost center, GL account, and vendor levels across a large multi-region organization.
