Senior Software Engineer (AI/Code Security)

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary: USD $124,000–$329,200 per year, with eligible roles also offering benefits, annual bonus, and stock.

What you will do

• Deliver CodeQL-powered code analysis across hirify.global.com and hirify.global Enterprise Server production environments.
• Own published artifacts, deployed services, production operations, and incident response.
• Build and operate CI pipelines and internal platforms that help CodeQL and AI engineers validate changes and ship releases.
• Improve offline evaluation tools to shorten development cycles and reduce release risk.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and technical writing teams to influence product direction and deliver reliable code-scanning features.
• Engage with enterprise customers and the open-source community to improve product quality and user experience.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience in software security, DevOps, CI solutions, orchestration and automation, software supply chain security, developer tools, software lifecycle automation, or machine learning and AI for source-code understanding.
• Experience building high-quality, secure production software and collaborating across engineering and product teams.
• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.

• Experience across two or more of the listed technical areas.
• Experience as a DevOps or developer experience engineer.
• Experience designing and operating software lifecycle management and developer productivity tools.
