Antarctica: Procurements, Supply Chain & Property Packet Lead (Supply Chain)

Location: Remote, U.S.; U.S. citizenship required

Company

Supports the United States Antarctic Program through procurement, logistics, supply chain, property management, and scientific operations services.

What you will do

• Lead procurement planning, sourcing strategies, inventory management, property accountability, and supply chain performance.
• Coordinate acquisition and delivery of goods and services with operations, science support, logistics, engineering, facilities, IT, and finance teams.
• Oversee government-furnished property, contractor-acquired property, inventory control systems, asset tracking, and property accountability programs.
• Manage material forecasts, demand planning, inventory levels, replenishment activities, supplier relationships, and subcontractor performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enhance customer support.
• Supervise assigned personnel, including workload allocation, performance management, training, mentoring, and professional development.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, property management, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex procurement and supply chain activities involving multiple stakeholders and operational priorities.
• Experience with property management, asset accountability, inventory management systems, materials planning, ERP, procurement, and property management systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience supporting government contracts, large-scale transitions, or program mobilizations.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, international shipping, customs, and import/export processes.
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting tools.
