TL;DR

Logistics Operations Manager (Transportation) (Logistics/Supply Chain): Managing inbound, interplant, and outbound transportation flows, dock operations, and logistics provider execution in support of factory startup and ongoing operations with an accent on KPI performance, compliance, and delivery reliability. Focus on analyzing logistics data, resolving shipping and warehouse escalations, driving corrective actions, and coordinating Assembly Test and Wafer Sort factory readiness.

Location: Penang, Malaysia; hybrid work model with regular on-site work at the assigned hirify.global site

hirify.global's Supply Chain organization manages the movement of materials, equipment, and finished goods supporting manufacturing and customer delivery.

What you will do

Own inbound, interplant, and outbound logistics operations for materials, equipment, and finished goods.
Lead dock operations supporting site startup, ramp, and steady-state execution.
Monitor logistics KPIs, compliance requirements, and operational standards.
Analyze processes and data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Track, escalate, and resolve shipping, warehouse, carrier, and execution exceptions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, logistics providers, and senior leaders on execution readiness, cost, risk, and delivery performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in logistics operations or third-party logistics management.
Experience with SAP, Transportation Management Systems, 4PL and 3PL freight supplier management, and performance metric tracking.
Strong knowledge of transportation operations, compliance protocols, supplier governance, and end-to-end execution.
Advanced data analysis skills and proficiency with logistics management software.
Basic knowledge of Malaysian Customs processes, local and federal regulations, and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

Leadership experience managing logistics escalations and operational improvements across global teams.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
