Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Chaska, Minnesota, United States. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., from January through June 2027.

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Evaluate manufacturing setup times, process times, and operational inefficiencies.
• Identify production bottlenecks and opportunities to improve manufacturing capacity.
• Develop and implement process changes that reduce setup times and address capacity issues.
• Improve manufacturing processes and support predictable lead times in Operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student eligible to participate in a university co-op program.
• Expected graduation between 2027 and 2029.
• Studying Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Available for 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, from January through June 2027.
• Must work on site and be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work independently or collaboratively.
