Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite manufacturing and cleanroom work required.

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead validation and qualification activities for equipment, molds, vision systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate engineering builds and sample evaluations for new methods, processes, and equipment.
• Create, update, and release manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process records, and SAP-controlled documents.
• Develop manufacturing processes and fixtures to improve operational performance, product quality, cycle time, scrap, and efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing data, update routings and cycle-time records, and implement data-driven solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, and present project updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Expected graduation in 2027 or 2028 and familiarity with university co-op participation requirements.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from January through June.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, organization, communication, leadership, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.
