Project Engineer (Powertrain)

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead powertrain projects from concept through manufacturing and product release using the hirify.global Product Development Process.
• Define, document, and communicate project requirements, expectations, schedules, resources, and execution plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate engineering resources across multiple sites and product groups.
• Manage project budgets, risks, approvals, decisions, financial performance, and workforce forecasts.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve execution issues and incorporate design expertise.
• Prepare project status and performance communications for senior leaders and executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of program leadership or engineering project leadership experience in a similar industry.
• Experience managing project requirements, resources, budgets, risks, schedules, and organizational planning.
• Strong technical, leadership, decision-making, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, work under pressure, and interact with senior leaders and suppliers.
• Ability to travel 10–25% domestically and internationally; visa sponsorship is not available.
