Location: Henderson, Colorado; onsite at a company-designated office or field location. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $71,932–$83,669 per year, paid weekly.

What you will do
- Coordinate and streamline onboarding for nearly 700 field and union employees across Sturgeon Electric’s Colorado C&I operations.
- Manage communications and documentation with employees, administrative teams, MYR departments, and IBEW union representatives.
- Maintain employee records, collective bargaining correspondence, advancement and promotion activities, and commercial driver files.
- Track MVRs, FMCSA documentation, pre-employment and random drug testing, background checks, and regulatory compliance.
- Administer leave tracking and communication for FMLA, workers’ compensation, FMLI, and furloughs in collaboration with the corporate Leave Specialist.
- Standardize onboarding, termination, drug-screening, badging, and digital HR processes using iCIMS, Rivet, and related systems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible HR or workforce administration experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with HR systems and process digitization.
- At least 2 years of DOT/commercial driver compliance and FMCSA experience.
- At least 2 years of leave-of-absence administration experience, including FMLA and workers’ compensation.
- Experience with onboarding, compliance tracking, HR process standardization, unionized workforces, and collective bargaining agreements.
- High school diploma or GED required; confidentiality, attention to detail, and cross-functional leadership skills required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development.
- Experience with collective bargaining agreements in the electric construction industry.
- Lead or supervisory experience.
- Training in HR administration, labor relations, or regulatory compliance.
